Still light is a personal exploration of the changing light in Iceland and how it alters the experience and perception of the place. The amount of daylight in the northern latitudes is in constant change, everyday it’s different. It grows gradually until you can hardly see the sun hiding in June and decreases until you cannot see more than a weak twilight in December, changing with it colors, landscapes and people.
Candles, fireworks, shinny pearls with vitamin D and Christmas lights in the darkest time. Long sunsets, colored atmospheres or the moon on a bright summer night in the lightest. Elements that relate to the cycle of light there, to the excess and to the lack of it.
